August 4th, 2009 | | Email This Post Email This Post |

I am a personal trainer, but I can only reach so many people in my hometown area of Metro Detroit, MI.  So, Made Fit TV is my way to reach out to all of you to provide you with effective health and fitness information.

I get many emails every week that help influence the episodes you see on Made Fit TV.  To hear some, check out this week’s episode to hear questions from viewers that may offer some insight into your goals as well.  You can even chat with me in person every Saturday at 12pm EST when I stream my episodes live - just click on this link!

  • I love when the photoshopped model conversation comes up. I actually do this for a living. I've seen the before & after shots. You would be shocked to see what some of the "hottest" women look like before they go under the airbrush.

Photoshop creates impossible to achieve skin, perfect eyes, perfect shapes and you need to be a trained eye to be able to even tell. Bottom line...if it's in a magazine, it's not real - striving to be look like a cover model is about as rational as striving to look like a cartoon character.
  • SO TRUE! I always said that making a magazine cover your goal is like having a goal that does not exist. Glad you understand that, too! Wish more people did LOL!

Awesome episode Jenny! I hope you make it big someday and get like your own NBC segment so you can reach millions of people.

Also, are you looking to bulk to a higher weight this season as opposed to last season? You're looking amazing and huge (in a good way) right now. I'd love to hear what you eat on a typical day.
  • Thx X! I am always in training mode because I love it so much. Plus, I want to compete again later in the winter, so I have to keep it up : )

I loved this question/answer format! I'm glad to hear you mention daily calorie intake (1200-1500) for the woman that asked about losing abdominal fat. I too am her height and weight with the same problem. Thank you!!!
BTW: Do you have easy no cook summer recipe ideas to share?
