Push ups are my absolute FAVORITE exercise movement on the planet!  It’s something that requires no equipment and the movement targets your chest, shoulders, triceps, and core!

Check out this video for the BEST variation, imo : )

I WROTE THIS POST IN REFRENCE TO THE WEAK KNEE VIDEO YOU DID, BUT IT'S OLD AND I WASN'T SURE IF YOU WOULD SEE IT. SO I'M REPOSTING HERE. LOL THANKS! :)

I lost a lot of weight back in high school. Went from 232-169. However, during my last two years of college and post 3yrs I stopped being active and went back to bad eating habits and weigh in at about 282. I'm only 24 and barely 5'2. FYI: I did not completely stop exercising, I just didn't do it consistantly. When I would exercise I did high intense cardio. I.E. Insanity, Taebo etc. and had no problems. So In Jan 2012 I decided to really get the weight off. I started Turbo fire had no problems and decided to start walking/jogging as well. I realized I needed a new pair of shoes but figured one more workout before buying a new pair would be fine. I jogged outside and I really pushed it. The next day trying to do Turbo I had a sharp knee pain when kicking, jumping, squatting. I stopped exercising for 2months to let it heal. I started back in March and I do fine on the Tredmil, but I enjoy my DVDs lol. I've been doing Zumba, and the Tredmil and while that knee pain has decreased I can not exercise like I want to. Any low bending or too much pressure really hurts this one knee. I will try these exercises, and ice. Could the pain just be from all the extra weight? Is there anything else I should be doing? Thanks!

What is your opinion of unpowered treadmills?

    • Jenny

OMG I hate them, lol!!  I tried using one a few years ago when I moved to a very, very small town and I was tripping over myself every two seconds, lol!  If you are used to using a powered one, just invest in a powered one.  If you don't mind the other ones and are more coordinated that I am, by all means, use it ; )

Thanks. I think I'll just stay with the treadmill, elliptical and row machine intervals. I was just curious.

Thank you. I've never heard about them today and was curious about there effectiveness. I will stick to the powered treadmill, elliptical, row machine, etc. routines.
